一、小作文

　Suppose you are working for the “Aiding Rural Primary School” project of your university, write a letter to answer the inquiry from an international student volunteer. You need to specify the details of the project.

　　结合历年真题，虽然一直存在“书信”和“告示”两种题型，但笔者在各大班次中反复强调过，请学生以书信为主，巩固常考的十大话题材料，但今年小作文难度系数偏高，主要原因是，和以往单一主题的提示词有所不同，今年的小作文提示词中出现的信息较庞杂，包括aid, inquiry, volunteer, details, 故学生可能在帮助信，询问信，招募志愿者，和介绍信中徘徊。其中帮助信类似于2006年英语一小作文，招募志愿者类似于2010年英语一小作文。此时考生需要静心读题，可得知前三点均为背景信息，此次小作文核心为介绍信，具体题干分析如下“假设你为你们学校的“资助偏远小学项目”工作，某位国际留学生志愿者给你写了一封信，请你写一封回信，你需要明确该项目的具体细节。”

　　一旦确定为介绍活动信件，则可参照2013年英语一小作文“介绍英语演讲比赛”，2014年英语二小作文“介绍慈善义卖”等等，中间段可以从活动时间，内容，性质等方面展开。请各位考生务必落实小作文格式，避免在格式上出现失误扣分。

　　As one member working for the “Aiding Rural Primary School Project” of our university, I would be glad to receive your inquiry and inform you of some details about this project.

　　First, this project aims at aiding those poor kids living in some poverty-stricken families in some Chinese western rural areas aging from 9 to 12 years old. Second, as a volunteer, your primary task is to participate in our annual teaching activities organized on every summer vacation lasting for about two weeks. Finally, those children would be thrilled if you could bring some gifts from overseas representing cultures and customs abroad.

　　【题目】52. Directions:Write an essay of 160-180 words based on the following picture.In your essay, you should1) describe the picture briefly.2) interpret its intended meaning, and3) give your comments.

今年英语一大作文继续沿袭图画作文，属于单图中的对立观点类型，难度系数适中。图画中两个人在登山，其中右边一个人垂头丧气的坐在台阶上，抱怨说“累了，不想爬”，而左边一人，背着背包，递给他一杯水，并且说“别，休息一下接着爬”，图下有两个字“途中”。

　　笔者在考研冲刺班中提及，历年英语一考研作文主要体现为“社会热点”“教育文化”“精神品质”“环境保护”，请各位考生今年重点关注“教育文化”和“精神品质”，果不其然，今年以“精神品质”为主。

　　究其具体精神品质，出发角度比较多，主流角度是左边一个人身上体现出来的“坚持”，“对梦想的执着追求”，当然也有同学强调“在前进道路中，陪伴和鼓励”的重要性，还有同学剑走偏锋，从图中右边一个人的角度出发，强调“在人生道路中，不必一直前行，有时休息是为了更好的前进”。笔者建议从“坚持”入手，最终落脚点略微提及“陪伴与鼓励”。

　　第一段以提出问题，图画描述为主，可以先总体描述图中场景，然后细节突出左右两个人言行上的差异，得出“坚持”这一主题词。第二段以分析问题，展开为主，分析图画所反映的社会现象，展开维度较多，笔者在新东方班次中提及的三大论证思路均适用“因果论证”“举例论证”“正反论证”。思路一：因果论证，证明坚持的好处或者为什么人们应该坚持;思路二：举例论证，用具体名人事例证明坚持的重要性;思路三：正反论证，如果坚持则可以成功，反之，则会走向失败。第三段以解决问题，归纳总结为主，得出作者自己观点，当然是呼吁坚持不懈，可以提及“同伴的鼓励”会让人生之路锦上添花，最后收尾总结。

　　There are, as is symbolically and explicitly demonstrated in the cartoon above, two individuals climbing a mountain, with one guy on the left wearing a bag on the back and a beaming smile on the face who is encouraging the other one, unexpectedly, sitting on the half way and wanting to give up, which indicates the importance of persistence.

　　Obviously, these two guys directly epitomize a prevailing social phenomenon that is in life’s journey. Some people with keen eyesight can stick to their dreams, while others, on the contrary, may easily give up despite there is encouragement and accompaniment from their teammates. Hence, we cannot overemphasize the significance of persistence, with which we can overcome all adversities and hardships in long-term life’s journey. Otherwise, we would end up in failure and live in despair. Taking basketball player Yao Ming for example, he can slam-dunk smartly because he does his utmost in pursuing his dreams and never gives his ideal up.

　　From the preceding discussion, it is readily apparent that persistence is a pre-requisite on our way to success, since life is a long journey, while sticking to why we start is a must to the destination. Only by making constant efforts and never stopping making progress can we expect a bright and promising future!

二、寓意阐释段

【模板一】In fact, a number of reasons may contribute to this problem which is visulized explicitly in this picture. However, in my opinion, two factors play the essential role. One factor that plays a vital role in this problem is that people who are eager to reap instant benefits and to achieve quick success are blinded by short-term gains and motivated to do something wihout foresight and discernment. In addition to the above aspect, this issue also stems from that the performer fails to realize that he is supposed to bear relevant responsibilities and shoulder the consequences caused by his irresponsible and uncommitted behavior.

【模板二】Various reasons, as a matter of fact, are behind this matter illustrated in this picture, but as far as I know, the following two matter enormously. One of the possible cause is that no relevant legal consciousness has been instilled into the performer’s mind and he could do nothing but chase the trend blindly and uncousciouly when confronted with this solution. It is also owing to the fact schools and other relevant education institutions tend to be ignorant of the idea that students are in the exact phrase of personality formation and only push them to be devoted entirely to academic affairs.

三、个人评论段

According to the analysis above, it is advisable for us to take measures to approach solve this evil trend. Of all the steps, mass media tends to function essentially in the job. Besides, it is suggested that the whole society should bear the responsibility in the job. Only by means of these steps can we enjoy the ultimate success.
